SÉCURITÉ ET SURVIE EN MILIEU SAUVAGE Notre programme de formation à la sécurité et à la survie en milieu sauvage est un ensemble progressif de cours visant à développer vos compétences et votre confiance en milieu sauvage, et plus particulièrement en cas de situation de survie.

Wilderness Safety & Survival - Level 2 (Practical Survival)
Apply all the knowledge you learned in the WSS Level 1 course! This fun filled day outdoors includes practical training and hands on experience using the best equipment on the market. Practice starting fires using various materials, learn to find water and make it safe to drink, and actually build a survival shelter that you could sleep in.
Syllabus (includes but not limited to)
First Aid: Awareness and Prevention is key!
Fire: Multiple methods under varying conditions.
Shelter: Varying types, materials, placements, and the pros & cons of each.
Signals: Being seen is being rescued! (flares, mirrors, flags etc.)
Water: Purification tabs, pumps, filters, when and where.
Food: Passive techniques for harvesting common plants and animals.
Wilderness Safety & Survival - Level 3 (Overnight Survival)
Get a real taste of survival! Imagine building your own survival shelter, sitting around a crackling fire that you built, watching the stars, and sipping on hot wild rose hip tea. Those are only a few of the things you will do during this course. Spend two full days and one night in a beautiful wilderness setting, learning to survive. Definitely a weekend you won't forget! So you think you have enough firewood to last the night?

Shelter: Alternative Shelter Options.
Signals: Go Big and Go Home! Being seen is being rescued! Let's build a Smoke Generator
Water: Purification tabs, pumps, filters, when and where.
Food: Passive techniques for harvesting common plants and animals.
Note: It will be at the instructor’s judgment if you will be placed solo, in pairs, or small groups.
Prerequisites:
WSS1
Duration: You will spend a total of 2 days including 1 overnight.
Maximum Instructor to Participant Ratio: 1:6
Cost: $350 + tax
